ACECQA's Governance

The ACECQA Board is accountable to Education Ministers and reports to the Ministers as set out in the Education and Care Services National Law.

The CEO of ACECQA is responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of the organisation within the strategic direction set by the Board.

Ministers' Letter of Expectation, the Chair’s response and ACECQA’s Strategic Plan are key governance documents for the organisation. The current plan provides direction on the organisation’s areas of focus from 2024 until 2028.
