The approved provider must take reasonable steps to recruit educators who have, or are actively working towards, at least an approved diploma level education and care qualification whilst this waiver is in effect.
During this period of time a maximum of one educator who holds an approved certificate III qualification as listed on ACECQA can be counted in the ratios of diploma qualified educators.
The waiver for regulation 126(1)(a) applies on a maximum of one day per week during educator’s lunch breaks.
