The approved provider must ensure that a child being educated and cared for by the service is not transported by the service or on transportation arranged by the service until 30 June 2024.

The approved provider must engage a consultant until 30 June 2024.

The consultant must specialise in early childhood education and have the ability to support improvements to practices at the service with a focus on the following areas:
a) Regulation 102 B - Transport risk assessment must be conducted before service transports child
b) Regulation 102 C - Conduct of risk assessment for transporting of children by the education and care service
c) Regulation 102 D - Authorisation for service to transport children
d) Regulation 102E - Children embarking a means of transport— centre-based service
e) Regulation 102F Children disembarking a means of transport—centre-based service

The approved provider must submit a Quality Improvement Plan or Self- Assessment for the service to the Regulatory Authority by 30 June 2023 and every 3 months thereafter to 30 June 2024. The Quality Improvement Plan must include an assessment by the approved provider of the quality of the practices of the service against the National Quality Standard and any areas that the approved provider considers may require improvement and a statement of the philosophy of the service.
