Girl 1: We might see some lizards.
Educator: How about we put Maddie there?
Girl 1: We might see some lizards.
Educator: We could. Alright, who needs this one?
Girl 2: Or some ladybugs.
Educator: So if we have a look at our snapdragons... Oh, look through there. Can you see?
Girl 1: Yeah.
Educator: Can you see anything on there?
Girl: I can see something.
Girl 2: I’m going to the sandpit to look.
Educator: You want to have a look in the sandpit? Could you see anything, Maya?
Maya: Yes, I can see something.
Visual description: An educator is holding a toddler, Maddie, on her hip as she walks into a garden area with two older girls. The educator sits on a rock in the garden then gently places Maddie on her own rock. One of the older girls sits on a rock beside the educator as Maya, the other girl, stands. The educator takes out a large magnifying glass while the standing girl peers through a smaller one.

Maya: Now I see something.
Educator: Yay!
Educator and Maya [singing]: “I’m a little teapot / Short and stout / Here is my handle / Here is my spout…
Educator [singing]: When I get all steamed up then I shout / Tip me over / Pour me out.”

Maya: Hang on.
Educator: Peekaboo!

Educator: What's the matter, Naomi?
[Naomi whispers.]
Educator [from off-screen]: What do you need help with, darling? Yeah. Alright, I’ll come and help you. Maya, can you sit there with Maddie for a second?
Maya [from off-screen]: Yes.
Educator: What do you want, darling? Do you want to take it in the fairy garden?
Naomi: What?
Educator: In the sandpit. Oh, you want it in the sandpit. Is it too heavy?
Girl 3: Look at me!
Educator: What's that?
Girl 3: It’s a sand castle with lots of sand.
Educator [clapping]: Very good.
Visual description: The camera pans left to Naomi, a young girl, crouching on the path nearby with a tub. The educator walks over to Naomi, picks up the tub and follows Naomi to the sandpit. She places the tub in the sandpit as she talks to two older girls playing in the sand.

Girl 4: Pushed down? Why did you do that?
Girl 3: What’s that? Where’s the blue one?
Educator: So fill it all up with sand and we’ll see if we can make a nice tall sandcastle. Good girl.
Visual description: One of the older girls lifts a purple container from the sand, revealing a cone-shaped sand castle. A blue cone-shaped container stands nearby. The girl pushes the sand castle over as Naomi scoops sand into the tub.

Educator [from off-screen]: Who would like to go inside and do some Play-Doh? Because it’s getting very cold, I think. And I’ve got some special things for the Play-Doh today. I've got some feathers. Shall we go and make a garden with our Play-Doh since we can't play out here now it’s too cold?
Girl 3 [from off-screen]: I’m still going.
Educator [from off-screen]: You’re still going?
Girl 3 [from off-screen]: Still going.
Educator [from off-screen]: Well, it is getting cold so what if I take some sand inside and we can play with the sand inside? Would that be a good idea?
Girl 3 [from off-screen]: Yeah.
Educator [from off-screen]: OK. Abi, would you like to bring those in? And, Crystal, would you bring those in? We’ll bring some sand inside.
