SENIOR PROJECT OFFICER INFORMATION SECURITY 
 

Full time, fixed term position for 3 months   

Salary range - $82,693 - $116,399       

The Senior Project Officer Information Security manages and coordinates the development of policies and procedures to improve information security compliance in ACECQA. The position will review current controls, align and develop policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant information security standards as an element of the overall Information Security Management System (ISMS).

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to provide information security advice and have the ability to develop an information security awareness program.

Selection Criteria

Essential Selection Criteria:

  1. Experience developing information security policies, procedures and support material.
  2. Experience developing, implementing or maintaining an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
  3. Knowledge of information security requirements under ISO 27001 and 27002.
  4. Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex concepts through multiple communication methods.
  5. Demonstrated ability to investigate facts and perspectives on the effectiveness of policies and procedures and evaluate alternative courses of action to arrive at quality recommendations and decisions.

Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) or NSW Digital Information Security Policy (DISP).

REPORTING ANALYST 

Full time, This is a non-ongoing role until 29/06/2018                                                                   

This position works within the Education and Care Systems team that are responsible for the efficient management of the National Quality Agenda Information Technology System (NQAITS) on behalf of the Australian Sate and Territory Governments.

The successful applicant will be required to design and develop reports, templates, analytics and dashboards used in the NQAITS using a variety of technologies including Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Dynamics CRN, ZAP BI and Xperido. They will also support and maintain the pre-existing library of reports and templates.

Selection Criteria

Essential Selection Criteria:

  1. Exhibits a broad and in-depth knowledge of and experience with business intelligence tools, in particular Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services and OLAP cubes
  2. Demonstrated advanced SQL programming experience and skillset
  3. Experience working with large data sets, with skills in managing the integrity of data
  4. Data analysis skills, including the ability to present complex information in an easy to understand way
  5. Highly developed communication skills, with experience working with diverse groups of stakeholders
  6. Demonstrated ability to network and build relationships with key stakeholders such as Regulatory Authority administrators
  7. Ability to craft report requirements rapidly and show responsiveness to new report requests

Desirable:

  1. Experience working in or with a regulatory environment
  2. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, with a focus on integrating reports
  3. Experience with either ZAP BI or Xperido template generation software internal and external stakeholders
