Policy Officer/Senior Officer

We are seeking an Officer/Senior Officer to join our Policy and Strategy team to ensure ACECQA delivers robust and influential policy advice for our stakeholders on the regulation of education and care under the National Quality Framework (NQF).

The Senior Policy Officer is responsible for contributing to policy projects and policy advice to support ACECQA’s role in guiding the implementation and administration of the National Quality Framework (NQF). The NQF was introduced in 2012 to improve education and care across long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten, and outside school hours care.

The Senior Policy Officer identifies and investigates policy problems using their skills in legislative interpretation, critical thinking and knowledge of regulatory policies.

Manager Communications and Engagement

ACECQA is seeking a Manager, Communications and Engagement who will develop and manage ACECQA's internal and external communications and engagement strategies and activities whilst collaborating with other internal business groups and external stakeholders and partners.

The Manager, Communications and Engagement, manages a small team and works with other ACECQA business units to engage stakeholders on relevant projects.  This role manages online and offline information and resources and oversees internal and external events.  

The Manager, Communications and Engagement, is also responsible for developing and implementing communication and engagement strategies that align with ACECQA's strategy plan.  The role needs the ability to develop and translate complex information into plain English suitable for varied audiences.

Applicants with knowledge of major issues affecting the children's services sector would be desirable.

ACECQA Temporary Register 2017

The Temporary Employment Register is open for candidates to register a general expression of interest (EOI) for employment with ACECQA. 

The Temporary Employment Register enables ACECQA to access appropriately skilled and experienced individuals at short notice, or refer candidate details, with their consent, to government organisations with similar vacancies.
