ACECQA is seeking a Finance Officer that will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure accurate financial and administrative operations in line with ACECQA’s finance and organisational policies and procedures.
The success applicant must have accurate alpha-numeric data entry skills and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office tools specifically Word, Excel and Outlook and must be able to work as part of a team.
The Finance Officer will be responsible for all the functions of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and this includes issuing of invoices and receipts, payment processing and daily banking duties. Maintenance of the financial and accounting system in accordance with ACECQA’s policies and procedures and management direction will be required for a variety of finance functions.
The Finance Officer will be required to maintain financial records, various registers and preparation of transactional reports and data analysis. This role also assists the Senior Finance Officer in the preparation of reports, budgeting, forecasts and other business analysis and well as bank reconciliations and month-end processes.
Applications that have a tertiary qualification in Accounting would be considered desirable.
This is a non-ongoing role for a period of 6 months with the possibility of being extended.
