Families qualitative research project 2018 – Request for Tender (RFT)
The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) requires the services of an external research organisation to conduct qualitative (group discussion) research with families using or intending to use an education and care service within the scope of the National Quality Framework (NQF), including long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten and outside school hours care (before and after school care and vacation care) services.
The aims of the research include to:
- understand more about the factors families consider when choosing an education and care service for their child
- focus on particular segments of families, such as families using different service types (e.g. long day care, outside school hours care), and families living in different locations (e.g. metropolitan/regional)
- inform market research, brand testing and concept prioritisation for ACECQA’s website for families ‘Starting Blocks’.
