The Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) funds agencies in each state to assist all services as they progress through the assessment and rating process.
PSCs provide support to eligible child care services requiring professional development and training. PSCs also administer Bicultural Support, specialist equipment and general resources library.
Indigenous Professional Support Units are funded by the Australian Government to provide culturally appropriate advice and support to Indigenous run child care services identified as eligible to receive professional support.
