ACECQA is the new national body ensuring high quality early childhood education and care across Australia.

ACECQA is a national entity overseeing important changes to early childhood education and care and school age care in Australia.

On 1 January 2012, the ‘National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education and Care’ begins. It is being introduced across Australia to help children have the best possible start in life.

At ACECQA, we have a national focus. We are working to help our early childhood education and care sector, governments and the community prepare to improve the quality of services.

We want to help everyone understand what the changes will mean for them. On this site there is useful information for families, education and care services and governments.

Recently, application and notification forms to be used from 2012 have been added to the Application Forms menu.

Another new addition to ACECQA's site is the archive of resources from the former National Childcare Accreditation Council.

We also provide a directory of useful links, such as MyChild.gov.au, where you can search for services and view quality rating information.
